Steve Valdez-Symonds has been volunteering for PRCBC since January 2018 as legal researcher. Prior to this Steve was our occasional monthly volunteer receptionist. He supports PRCBC with some of its complex legal research and has co-authored various blogs and articles.

Steve was called to the Bar in 1995. He is a Law Society Caseworker Level 2 Accredited. He worked as a Legal Officer for the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA) 2006-2012. Since July 2014, he is the Refugee and Migrant Rights Programme Director for Amnesty International UK.
