PRCBC’s beneficiaries are enabled to receive pro bono legal advice and assistance delivered by and under the supervision of Solange Valdez-Symonds with the assistance of qualified volunteers and a grant from Therium Access.

Kitty is an established practising solicitor running her own practice Kitty Falls Immigration Law. She has been volunteering since August 2020. 
Mike Poulter 

 

MPP (1)

Mike is a legal aid solicitor and level 2 accredited caseworker at Turpin & Miller in Oxford. His work primarily focuses on asylum, detention and deportation. He has been volunteering since mid 2019. 
Joanna Hunt

Joanna is a solicitor with the firm Lewis Silkin LLP and has practised in immigration law for over 10 years. She provides immigration and citizenship support to a wide range of individuals. She has been volunteering since August 2020. 
photo_9757 Naz is a paralegal at Kesar and Co Solicitors. She works primarily on cases concerning the rights of prisoners in custody. She has been volunteering since March 2021.
   
   
Solange Valdez-Symonds

 

 Solange Valdez

Solange is a Law Society Level 3 Advanced Accredited supervising solicitor. She has been practising as a solicitor for over 14 years. She is also PRCBC’s co-founder, supervising solicitor and director. Solange supervises and manages all pro bono advice, casework and litigation work.
   
Amarjit Ahluwalia

Amarjit is an established public law solicitor with over 20 years practising experience. She works as a consultant solicitor for Scott-Moncrieff  & Associates Ltd. She is a former PRCBC trustee and committed to children’s British citizenship rights. She has been volunteering since January 2019. 

Steve Valdez-Symonds

Steve was called to the Bar in 1995. He worked as a Legal Officer for the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA) 2006-2012. Since July 2014, he has been working as Refugee and Migrant Rights Programme Director for Amnesty International UK. Steve supports PRCBC with some of its complex legal research. He has been volunteering since January 2018 as legal researcher. Prior to this he was our occasional volunteer receptionist and co-author of various blogs and articles.
