Kitty is an established practising solicitor running her own practice Kitty Falls Immigration Law. She has been volunteering since August 2020.

Mike is a legal aid solicitor and level 2 accredited caseworker at Turpin & Miller in Oxford. His work primarily focuses on asylum, detention and deportation. He has been volunteering since mid 2019.

Joanna is a solicitor and director with the firm Fieldfisher and has practised in immigration law for over 10 years. She provides immigration and citizenship support to a wide range of individuals. She has been volunteering since August 2020.

Favour Arabambi

Favour is currently studying History and Sociology at the University of Warwick. He is passionate about social history and the lessons we can learn from the past. He has been through the registration as a British citizen himself and is now trying to help others do the same. His interests range from Law to The Golden Age of Piracy (1650s-1720s), and when not studying he enjoys sports, literature and travelling. He has been supporting our pro bono team at our monthly Saturday casework as our Youth advisor since August 2021.
Solange Valdez-Symonds


 Solange Valdez

Solange is a Law Society Level 3 Advanced Accredited supervising solicitor. She has been practising as a solicitor for over 15 years. She is also PRCBC’s co-founder, supervising solicitor and CEO. Solange supervises and manages all pro bono advice, casework and litigation work.

Steve Valdez-Symonds


Steve was called to the Bar in 1995. He worked as a Legal Officer for the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA) 2006-2012. Since July 2014, he has been working as Refugee and Migrant Rights Programme Director for Amnesty International UK. Steve supports PRCBC with some of its complex legal research. He has been volunteering since January 2018 as legal researcher. Prior to this he was our occasional volunteer receptionist and co-author of various blogs and articles.
