PRCBC’s beneficiaries are enabled to receive pro bono legal advice and assistance delivered by and under the supervision of Solange Valdez-Symonds with the assistance of qualified volunteers and a grant from Therium Access.

Kitty is a established practising solicitor running her own practice Kitty Falls Immigration Law. She volunteers at our Saturday casework sessions.

MPP (1)

Mike is a legal aid solicitor and level 2 accredited caseworker at Turpin & Miller in Oxford. His work primarily focuses on asylum, detention and deportation. He volunteers at our Saturday casework sessions.
Steve Valdez-Symonds 



Steve was called to the Bar in 1995. He was legal officer at the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA) 2006-2012. Since July 2014, he has been working as Refugee and Migrant Rights Programme Director for Amnesty International UK. He supports PRCBC with legal research at our Saturday monthly slots and delivers training.
Dirghayu Patel



Dirghayu works as a legal aid Solicitor for GT Stewart Solicitors & Advocates. He has extensive legal experience in representing clients in housing public law matters. He has been volunteering as a caseworker at the monthly Saturday casework surgery since December 2018.
Solange Valdez-Symonds


 Solange Valdez

Solange is a Law Society Level 3 advanced accredited supervising solicitor. She is also PRCBC’s co-founder, supervising solicitor and director. Solange supervises and manages all pro bono advice and casework.
Amarjit Ahluwalia



Amarjit is an established public law solicitor with over 20 years practising experience. She works as a consultant solicitor for Scott-Moncrieff  & Associates Ltd. She is committed to children’s British citizenship rights. She is a former PRCBC trustee and  volunteers at the monthly Saturday casework surgery.
